Behind every great cattery stands not just a breeder — but a visionary soul.
The founder of Day&Night Cattery has dedicated her life to creating cats that embody harmony, beauty, and kindness.

Since childhood, she felt a special connection with animals — especially with cats. Their quiet wisdom, grace, and emotional depth inspired her to learn everything about feline genetics, behavior, and health.

“Cats are not just pets. Each one has a unique spirit — they bring calm, healing, and joy into people’s lives. My goal has always been to make people happier through these little miracles.”

The name Day&Night reflects the philosophy of balance — light and dark, work and rest, softness and strength.
Every kitten born in this cattery carries that energy: they’re playful like the day and gentle like the night.

Over the years, Day&Night became not just a cattery — but a family.
A place where every kitten grows surrounded by care, music, warmth, and love. The breeder personally looks after each mother cat, ensuring her comfort, health, and emotional well-being.

“When people adopt our kittens, they don’t just get a pet — they receive a piece of my heart. That’s why I remember every kitten I’ve ever raised.”

This deep emotional approach has made Day&Night a name known and respected worldwide — a symbol of trust ... Read more »

🌙 A Dream That Started in 2009

The Day&Night Cattery was founded in 2009 — a year that marked the beginning of something truly special in the world of cat breeding.
At first, the cattery focused on classic and beloved breeds such as Scottish Fold and British Shorthair. These elegant, round-faced cats with calm personalities inspired the founder to explore feline beauty and genetics on a deeper level.

But soon, the passion for creating something unique led to new discoveries — the Canadian Sphynx and the rare Bambino, a hairless cat with charming short legs. It was during this journey that the founder first encountered the Munchkin, a short-legged breed known for its playful and loving temperament.

“At that moment, I realized that Munchkins had incredible potential — but they needed refinement. They were cute, but their features weren’t yet harmonious. I wanted to create cats that would be beautiful, balanced, and truly captivating.”

🧬 Creating a New Standard of Beauty

From that vision, a groundbreaking breeding program began.
Day&Night Cattery started to cross Munchkins with other breeds — Scottish Fold, British, Exotic, Persian, and Scottish Straight.

🌿  Indoor vs Outdoor Munchkin Cats: Which Is Better for Your Pet?

Munchkin cats are small, curious, and full of energy — but should they live indoors or go outside? Let’s explore what’s best for their safety and happiness.

🏡 Indoor Munchkins

Safe and protected from cars, dogs, and diseases.

Easier to monitor diet and health.

Ideal for apartments or busy cities.

💡 Tip: Make their indoor space fun! Add scratching posts, climbing shelves, and toys to keep them active.

🌳 Outdoor Munchkins

While outdoor time can be exciting, their short legs make them slower and less able to escape danger.
If you want to give them fresh air — use a secure outdoor enclosure or cat harness.

✨ At Day&Night Cattery, we recommend keeping Munchkins indoors for a long, safe, and happy life.
